Wash kale thoroughly and remove tough middle rib
Pat dry with paper towel or spin dry in a salad spinner
In a large bowl, add kale, olive oil, nutritional yeast and sea salt
Using clean hands, mix all of the ingredients ensuring that kale is well coated with oil and seasoning. Don't rush this step!
Place kale on a parchment paper-lined tray or baking sheet in a single layer. Do not over crowd or it will not become crispy. You will have to cook kale in a few batches.
Air fryer: 300 degrees F for 8 or 9 minutes
Conventional oven: 300 degrees F until kale is crispy
